Michele Truhlik's well-rounded 20+ year career includes success on both ends of the marketing process spectrum. From Media Planner/Buyer to Radio Ad Sales and Cable Television Ad Sales Account Executive to entrepreneurial Small Business Owner, Michele possesses knowledge and deep insight into multitudes of industries and specialties...

And so was born, in 1994, the agency's foundational theme of bringing to the table an abundance of creative and effective ideas backed with sound executions and implementations.

Skillful and talented on both sides of the fence, she completely understands her clients' needs and how to best fulfill them.....and in so doing, provides attractive partnering opportunities for vendors and suppliers. It is at this juncture -- when buyer meets seller -- that true value is achieved as Michele's negotiation skills score points for all players.

With a philosophy of holistic and "out of the box" thinking, her leadership qualities, positive representation and competitive spirit assure clients their place in the Winners Circle.

As chief client interface, Michele absolutely loves what she does! (She also likes dogs, trees, convertibles and the Buffalo Bills.) She is very passionate about animal welfare and in particular, greyhound rescue and adoption. Michele has adopted five greyhounds into her life since 1999 and is an active member of two local greyhound adoption groups: the Central Texas chapter of Greyhound Pets of America and Austin Greyhound Adoption.

Megan Ward

Marketing Specialist

Megan Ward is an advertising and marketing professional with over a decade of experience in the communications business. She has developed a process that removes the mystery from building proven successful campaigns. Her Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) approach (which includes research, media and web strategy, creative/graphic design development and maintenance) provides relevant design and strategy solutions to today's marketing challenges.

A University of Texas at Austin journalism graduate and an active member of her church and Mobile Loaves and Fishes, she can best be described as professional, hard working and enthusiastic.

Her knowledge and experience serving clients spanning multiple industries, which include the best in manufacturing, construction, high-end retail, real estate and non-profit agencies, and her passion for advertising and marketing help to deliver proven results for Media Without Agony clients and campaigns.

Jan Triplett, Ph.D.

Public Relations Specialist

Jan has brought companies and products to market since 1982. With a degree in Radio, Television & Film and as a former moderator for a nationally syndicated program, "The Next 200 Years", she leverages contacts and gets clients local, national and international exposure.

As the author of A Networker's Guide to Success and known fondly as the "Mother of Networking" in Austin, she has helped establish networking groups and business organizations, including the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Texas and most recently the Texas Green Network. Her unique six step approach ensures that clients make the best use of their time and money and it connects them to the right people at the right time, no matter where in the world they are located.

Jan is a national and international speaker and writer on Business to Business (B2B) issues. This experience helps to find unique speaking opportunities and high profile publicity for clients. She has also added online PR to the toolbox, assisting clients in navigating the new media waters.

Other notable achievements and recognitions: Jan is the co-author of Thinking Big, Staying Small, a major research study, commissioned by the International Association of Business Communicators, on best public relations practices in small organizations.She was also the featured expert in an article on success strategies for family-run businesses that appeared in Austin Woman Magazine.

She was the Small Business Advocate for the State of Texas and a delegate to the White House and Congressional Summits on Small Business. Her work with local, county, state and federal officials and representatives give clients access to government for potential contracts and an ear when it comes to advocacy for or against legislation that would affect them.

She currently serves on the Governors' and President's Business Leaders Network, Students Involved in Free Enterprise (SIFE), and the American Museum for Entrepreneurship. She also volunteers for the local Austin SBA chapter, the Downtown Austin Farmer's Market and the Red Cross.
